Ice Rink In Downtown Lexington To Open Friday

It's another sign of the season's change.

The ice arena in Triangle Park is set to open Friday. Crews were making final touches on the rink Thursday. 

Admission and skate rental is $10. That also allows guests to enjoy 90 minutes on the ice. The rink is scheduled to be open Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. & Sunday 1-10 p.m. 

When Fayette County schools are not in session the ice rink will be open Monday -Friday 10am -10pm. The ice rink is expected to be open through mid-January.
