Parts of I-75 were closed Saturday after a wreck that sent five people to the hospital.

Firefighters say a car had pulled over to the side of the road to help a second car that had broken down when a truck slammed into the side of it.

Investigators say the drivers of two other cars - probably trying to avoid the original accident - also hit the vehicles that were already stopped.

They say five people from one car were taken to UK Hospital.

Some people were trapped inside the car, and firefighters had to use the jaws of life to get them out.
