I-75 Connector Down to Eight Potential Zones

I-75 Connector Down to Eight Potential Zones

A public meeting will be held in Richmond on Tuesday to go over the proposed areas for the road.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is holding a public meeting on Tuesday to go over the latest proposals for the I-75 Connector.

The meeting will be held at White Hall Elementary School in Richmond from 5pm to 8pm.

A similar meeting was held in Jessamine County on Thursday and drew more than 270 people.

The road would connect Highway 27 in Nicholasville to I-75 in Richmond.

Not everyone in the corridor where the proposed road would be is in favor of the project.

A group calling themselves the I-75 disconnectors say the road is unnecessary and would only hurt the ecosystem and more than 400 historic sites in the 13-mile long corridor.

They say the eventual commercial and residential development along the road would do nothing to save time.

If you would like more information on the project including when the next meeting will be you can click on the site below.
