An I-75 bridge in Whitley County is down to one lane after crews found a crack in one of the steel bridge beams, according to the state.
An I-75 bridge in Whitley County was reduced to one lane on Wednesday, June 4, after crews found a crack in one of the steel bridge beams, according to the Transportation Cabinet.

The bridge is on northbound I-75 at mile point 27 over Lynn Camp Creek near Corbin.

Until repairs are complete, the left lane would remain closed, according to the state.

The northbound lane will remain open to traffic.

Loads larger than 12 feet wide were being detoured in the southbound lane.

Also, all vehicles over 80,000 pounds were being detoured from Exit 25 at Corbin via U.S. 25W north to the Corbin Bypass KY 3041, north on U.S. 25E and then back on I-75 at Exit 29.
