A death investigation is underway after officers in Franklin County said they found two bodies in a trailer last Friday.

They said they were concerned about the conditions Wayne and Dora Kelly had been living in, calling the inside of the home "deplorable" before bringing in adult protective services in February.

Investigators said cat urine and feces from was present in the trailer, and believe the home may have had a broken exhaust system.

The Franklin County Coroner is continuing the investigation.
