House Committee Approves Bill to Protect KY Homeowners

As storms moved through Kentucky a  House Committee gave the okay for a bill to protect homeowners from shady contractors.

Under House Bill 421 homeowners would have 5 days to cancel a roofing contract, if they find out the work isn't covered by their insurance.

And the contractor would have to wait 5 days to collect payment for their work.
