Horses, Dogs and Cats Found Dead At Woodford County Farm

The Woodford County Sheriff's Office says sixteen horses and some dogs, cats and chickens were found dead at a farm.

Deputies, Animal Control and the State Department of Agriculture were called to a farm on Woodlake Road around 4:00pm Monday.

Investigators say they found the dead animals and another 30 horses, dogs and cats still alive in various states of neglect.

The surviving animals will be removed from the farm.

No word yet if the owner of the animals will be charged.
