Lexington Police: Homeowner Shoots Man During Home Invasion

Lexington Police said a homeowner shot a man Friday night during a home invasion.

It happened at a house in the 1700 block of Bryan Station Road near Northwood.

According to officers, two men kicked their way into the house.

The homeowner told police he shot one of the men in the leg as the second man ran off.

Police said the man who was shot went to the hospital.

Officers were still looking for the other suspect.

Police said they do not plan to file charges against the homeowner.
