A homeowner fired shots after he said someone tried to break into his home.
The man's wife was in the home when she spotted a man on her porch, according to police.
The man punched out a window and that's when she ran to get her husband.
Police said the husband grabbed a gun, went outside and fired two shots in the air, scaring the suspect off.
The woman later discovered her purse was missing.
Police are not sure if the suspect took it but they are calling IT a burglary investigation.
