Home Condemned After Dead Animals Found

A Lexington home has been condemned after investigators found the bodies of two dogs and two cats inside the residence.
The City of Lexington has condemned a house where dead animals were found.

Animal Control investigators say they responded to a complaint on Monday at a home in the 100 block of East Loudon and found two dead dogs and two dead cats in an upstairs apartment.

Investigators say Letha Jones was cited for not caring for the animals.

The city says the house was condemned because of unsanitary conditions.

The homeowner has a list of things that must be fixed and reinspected by the city before the house would be allowed to re-open.
