High Winds Take Out Trees in Madison County

More than 100 are without power after multiple reports of tree limbs falling on power lines.
        Dozens of trees and limbs were taken down during Thursday's storms in Madison County.

        Most of the damage was centered to the southwest of Richmond along Tates Creek Ave.

        According to Kentucky Utilities Website 106 customers were without power as of 11pm on Thursday.

        One Madison County man, Daren Brewer, says he watched the trampoline in his backyard be picked up by a wind gust and carried about 200 yards away on to Tates Creek Ave.

     According to Kentucky Mesonet, wind gusts reached 61 miles per hour in Madison County.

     Madison County EMS says no buildings were destroyed in the storms.
