State Police said a four-county car chase landed two people in jail last night.

Scott County Deputies said they spotted a 2000 Lincoln on I-64 around 6 p.m. They said they had been warned by the Lexington Police Department that the driver should be considered armed and dangerous. They also say he could be trafficking an illegal substance.

They said the driver was Daniel Moody, 28.

After signaling for Moody to pull over, deputies said he refused to stop and the high speed chase began that went through four counties.

Deputies said nearly 50 miles later, they were able to pull Moody over, but he got out of the car and started to run away. Eventually, they said they caught up to him.

Officers said Moody and his passenger, Kristine Muncie, 32, were arrested.

Police say no one was injured in the chase.
