High Hope Steeplechase Cancelled

One of the horse industry's signature events in the Bluegrass is cancelling its big fundraiser.

The 46th Annual High Hope Steeplechase was supposed to be held on May 19th.

But organizers say it won't happen.

Its facebook page says the group is facing fewer entries and races than its fans have come to expect.

The statement also says all monetary donations for this years event can be refunded or remain with group to go to its charities.
