The paper says the cost to view online articles will be $9.99 a month. A first month trial will only be $.99. For people who are already subscribers to the newspaper, it will be an extra $.60 a month to get the online service.

The Herald-Leader said they have shattered previous records this year with more than 145 million views so far in 2012.
