Health Department Extending Hours For Flu Shots

The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department is providing more chances to get a flu shot this week as the number of confirmed cases in the city is now at 57.

Flu shots will be available until 5 p.m. Tuesday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at the Public Health Clinic at 805A Newtown Circle.

No appointment is necessary, and the cost for a flu shot is $25.
