Hardin County Reacts To Carrollton Bus Crash Documentary

People in Hardin County watched and reacted to a documentary about the deadly Carrollton bus crash of 25 years ago.
The first public screening of a documentary detailing the 1988 Carrollton bus crash was shown in Hardin County Wednesday night.

Some survivors came back to watch it, including Ciaran Madden. She was the last one pulled alive out of the vehicle before it exploded for the last time.

Madden and other survivors were also given an advanced screening Tuesday--she called it an 'emotional roller coaster'.

However, she also said the public screening gave a night of closure.

"Just one person...one person hinges the life of everybody," she said.

Afterward, many said the film left an impact.

"The documentary was perfect. It allowed the survivors to speak and the strength it took to speak. And knowing them for 25 years, it just...it just could not have been more perfect," said one viewer.
