After months of rumors and speculation, Fayette Mall announced its plans Tuesday for its newest tenants.

It said H&M and The Cheesecake Factory will be among the additions to the Lexington mall.

Other new stores that will fill the space formerly occupied by Sears include Clark’s Footwear, Newk's Eatery, Brighton, Jos A. Bank and Michael Kors.

The mall said the former Sears Auto Center will be torn down to make room for more parking.

Fayette Mall said it hopes to have a majority of the roughly 30 planned stores open this November, in time for the holiday shopping season.

The Cheesecake Factory will be in an expanded area facing Nicholasville Road.

The 2-story, H&M store will be on the opposite side of the mall.

Fayette Mall said a temporary walkway connecting the two sides of the mall will be used until the permanent mall hallway is completed this summer.
