Temperatures will hover in the lower 70s across central Kentucky as active winds from the southwest and west gust to near 35 mph.  Drier air is arriving from southern Indiana and western Kentucky.  In eastern Kentucky, some gusty showers and even a thunderstorm or two will continue to slide east, eventually moving into Virginia and West Virginia.  Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry across most of central Kentucky, but isolated showers will clip southeastern Kentucky as a wave of low pressure crosses the Southern Appalachians.  After a couple of days with highs in the 60s, we'll warm back up to 75 with partly sunny and dry weather on Thursday.  The next storm system will produce scattered showers and thunderstorms on Friday, with much cooler air returning this weekend as additional showers gradually taper off from west to east.
