Hundreds of gun advocates from across Kentucky gathered on the steps of the capitol building to rally for the Second Amendment.

People came from as far away as Paducah to Frankfort to show their support for the right to bare arms.

Since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting gun control advocates have called for stricter gun laws.

Those at the rally say any new gun law would be the start of a 'snowball effect' eventually leading to the repeal of the Second Amendment.

Similar 'Guns Across America' rallies were held across the nation Saturday.
