Guilty Plea in Shooting Death Of Morehead State Student

Casey Shay, 27, has pleaded guilty in last year's murder of Morehead State student Cassandra Owens, according to The Morehead News.

The newspaper notes Friday's plea will grant Shay 38 years behind bars with the possibility of parole after 25 years.

According to The Morehead News, the shooting happened in Shay's and 21-year-old Owens' mobile home in East Morehead.
