Pages and pages of court documents contain the gruesome details into the murders of Sonsaray Warford and Charles Walker.  It wasn't until Tuesday, almost two years after their disappearance, that two men were charged with their murders.
26-year-old Daniel Keene, a junior physics major at EKU, and 27-year-old Iraq War veteran Matthew Denholm are charged with kidnapping and murder.  Denholm was already in jail when he was charged.  He's accused in a separate double shooting last fall that left a Berea College student dead.
Wednesday, both men pleaded not guilty.
The couple's bodies were found on Monday night in a field near Tates Creek Road in Richmond.
An affidavit says that a hit was put out on walker by a man named Ja'kolbe Chenault, who is currently in federal custody on drug charges.  The affidavit says Chenault thought Walker had stolen $180,000 from him.  The documents state that Warford was only killed because she was with Walker at the time he was kidnapped.  According to the documents, Keene confessed to the kidnapping and murder of the couple as well as recording the killings.
We want to warn you, that some of these details are very graphic.  Documents show that Keene told investigators that Denholm shot Warford in the back of the head, then stabbed Walker several times, pulled out his gold teeth and cut off his hands.
Denholm and Keene will be back in court Friday where there could be testimony for the first time in the case.  Bond for both men is set at $2 million each.
