Some in Jessamine County want teachers, administrators, and parents to be able to carry guns in school as a way of preventing a school shooting.
Some in Jessamine County want teachers, administrators, and parents to be able to carry guns in school as a way of preventing a school shooting.

David Adams of the Jessamine County Republican Party urged the Board of Education to consider that idea.

He says, "We need to send a message to the world that in Jessamine County, if we make this change...if you're coming to Jessamine County to try to shoot up a school, you might wind up with a bullet between the eyes at the front door."
