Groups Help With Neighborhood Cleanup

Lexington groups converged along the Georgetown street area in order to help residents with a neighborhood cleanup.
Groups from all over Lexington came together to help a community take back its neighborhood today.

Residents along Roosevelt Avenue say they've seen enough violence on their street, including a recent drive-by where bullets hit a home.

They decided it was time to clean the streets, and help came from all over to pitch in.

Police, firefighters, neighborhood groups and Lexington's Habit for Humanity spent this morning trimming hedges, picking up trash, and repairing fences.
