With UK's men and women headed to the Sweet 16 and a brewing storm between the Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals coming up, Governor Steve Beshear and Lexington Mayor Jim Gray encourage everyone to show off their "colorful" spirit this weekend.

Friday is being declared "Blue and Red Day" by the Governor, as UK and U of L face off in an intense rivalry that can "pit neighbors, friends and even families against each other," according to Beshear.

Mayor Gray, on the other hand, is calling this "Big Blue Wildcat Weekend," and wants the city to dress in solid blue.

The meeting of the Cats and the Cards in post-season action has happened twice in the last three years, with UK winning the 2012 NCAA championship and Louisville taking home the trophy last year.

The Lady Wildcats will take on Baylor in tournament play on Saturday.
