Gov. Chris Christie Comes To Kentucky

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was the featured speaker at the annual Kentucky GOP Lincoln dinner
One of the biggest names in the Republican Party was in Lexington on Saturday for the annual State GOP Lincoln Dinner.
New Jersey Governor and former republican presidential candidate Chris Christie was the featured speaker at the dinner, held at the Griffin Gate Marriott.
Senator Mitch McConnell was also on hand and introduced Governor Christie.
Christie talked about how his administration turned around a two billion dollar budget deficit in New Jersey, and how similar type of leadership is needed at the National level.
The Governor has been rumored to be one of the leading candidates as Mitt Romney's running mate for the upcoming general election.
Normally candidates pick their running mates a few days before their party's national convention.
This year's GOP National Convention will be held in Tampa, Florida during the week of August 27th.
