Lexington Police have issued a Golden Alert for Carl Wheeler Shye, 81, of Lexington.

He has been missing since 11:47 a.m. today (July 19, 2012).

He was last seen at his home on Oakwood Drive in Lexington.

He is believed to be driving a light green Toyota Camry.

The license plate number is 311 GKB.

Police said Shye has a variety of medical issues, including dementia and heart problems.

If you see Shye, call 9-1-1 immediately.
