The former girlfriend of an accused killer has filed a motion to have a separate trial from her boyfriend.

According to the New-Graphic Newspaper, Sheena Tipton and former Scott county football player Percy Hargrove III are charged in connection to the December 2011 shooting death of Andrew David Ingram.

A judge is considering the motion.
