A central Kentucky pool remains closed as the Memorial Day holiday begins.

Officials with Parks and Recreation say they found leaks in the Suffoletta Family Aquatic Center in Georgetown.

An expert came to the facility Friday to determine what the problem was and a work on a plan to repair it.

Parks and Recreation Director Geri Remley says they won't have an idea of when the gates can reopen until this inspection is complete. Tests on the pools water lines are expected to last through the holiday weekend.
