A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Friday across southeastern Kentucky.

Flood Advisories continue in Estill and Lee Counties, where the Kentucky River is running high, but is still slightly below flood stage.

Beautiful weather will continue through the afternoon as highs peak near 59 degrees.  A few clouds will arrive from the southwest tonight, and we'll cool down to near 44 degrees.  Another potent storm system will move from the Mississippi Valley to the Ohio Valley tomorrow, and the week's second severe weather outbreak will be likely across Kentucky.  Locally, the chance for strong to severe thunderstorms with large hail, damaging wind and isolated tornadoes will increase during the afternoon and into the evening on Friday.  After a very warm high temperature of 68, we'll cool down into the weekend, behind the potent cold front.  By Saturday morning, most of us will be dry, aside from a leftover shower in far eastern Kentucky.  Sunday and Monday will be unseasonably chilly for early March with highs in the 40s, and a weak disturbance will produce a few rain and snow showers.  High pressure and milder air will return with more sunshine than clouds on Tuesday through the middle of next week.
