Funeral Arrangements Set for Mother & Daughter

Services for 48-year-old Kathy Lynn Netherland and her daughter, 16-year-old Samantha Grace Netherland, have been arranged in Bardstown as they are laid to rest.

The mother and daughter were found dead in their home on Tuesday, with police ruling the deaths as a double homicide.

The official cause of death has not yet been released.

State Police are asking anyone or any business located between the Botland community and Bardstown with recorded video surveillance of Springfield Toad to contact them at (270) 766-5078.

Visitation will be held on Sunday between 3 to 8pm at Parkway Baptist Church, and also after 8:30am on Monday.

A funeral service is scheduled for Monday at 11am at Parkway Baptist, with burials to take place in the Bardstown Cemetery.
