Funeral Arrangements Set For Nicholasville Teen Killed In Crash

The family of Taylor Corman, who was killed in a car crash early Tuesday morning, have confirmed funeral arrangements for the teen.
Funeral arrangements have been set for a Jessamine County teen killed in a crash.

The family of Taylor Corman said the viewing would be Thursday from 5-9 p.m. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home.

The funeral, they said, would be Friday at 12:30 p.m., also at Kerr Brothers.

The sheriff's office said Corman, 18, was driving a 1998 Jeep around 2 a.m. when he lost control, over-corrected, and crashed into a tree.

He died at the scene.

The sheriff's office said they suspected alcohol and speed to be factors in the crash. Court documents showed Corman was driving on a hardship license--which meant he was only supposed to drive to and from work--because of a DUI in July.

Deputies said Corman had two passengers in the vehicle--Emilee Gosser, 18, and Christopher Gumm, 19. Officials said both were taken to UK Hospital, where Gumm was treated and released, and Gosser was in fair condition.

Kerr Brothers Funeral Home is on Harrodsburg Road in Lexington.

The family said the funeral would begin there and finish at the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Nicholasville.
