Funeral Arrangements Set For Alex Johnson

Funeral arrangements have been set for Alex Johnson, 32, of Lexington.

According to the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel website, there will be two visitations – one in Lexington and the other in Bowling Green.

 

LEXINGTON

Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 East Main Street

                        Visitation: Tuesday, January 28 from 2 – 6 p.m.

                        Memorial Service to Follow

 

BOWLING GREEN

J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel

                        Visitation: Thursday, January 30 from 1 – 9 p.m.

                                          Friday, January 31 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

                        Funeral: Friday, January 31 at 2 p.m.

                        Burial: Fairview Cemetery


The Fayette County Coroner said Johnson’s body was found in a barrel in the Kentucky River on Friday.

According to the coroner, Johnson died from multiple blunt force trauma to the head. He thinks Johnson had been in the barrel for at least a month.

Johnson went missing in December.
