Kentucky State Police say on Wednesday morning, a commercial vehicle was stopped on I-75 near the 33 mile marker in London.
Upon checking the operator of the tractor trailer, police say an officer learned that Jerry Lockett, 47, of Cochran Georgia was entered as a wanted person out of the state of Georgia for failing to register as a sex offender.
Lockett was arrested without incident and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center were he awaits extradition.
