Frost Advisories Give Way to Seasonable Afternoon

Frost Advisories are expiring at 9 AM across central and eastern Kentucky.

After another cold start, this time with only patchy frost in central and eastern Kentucky, we'll warm up to the more seasonable mid-60s this afternoon under partly sunny skies.  We'll continue into the middle 70s tomorrow, and upper 70s on Sunday, with overnight lows staying well above freezing this weekend.  Most areas will stay dry this weekend, but there will be some spotty showers this evening to the west of Lexington, and on Saturday, primarily north of I-64.  Widespread showers and thunderstorms will return to the area on Monday and Tuesday as a cold front crosses Kentucky from west to east.  Wednesday of next week will be cooler and dry with highs in the middle 60s.  A weaker disturbance may spark a few showers on Thursday of next week with seasonable weather.
