Lexington Police have identified a woman whose body was found on the side of a road.

Investigators say Kyley Palmer was found dead Thursday afternoon off of Leeann Lane.

Police are waiting on autopsy results to figure out how Palmer died.

Meanwhile her friends want to make sure she did not die in vain.

Three children will now grow up without their mom.

"I hope one day somebody tells them how beautiful and smart and loving their mom was," said Nikki Meek, a friend of Kyley's.

The Coroner may release preliminary autopsy results next week.
