Lexington police say they have no leads.  Police say Alex Johnson disappeared about 10 days ago.

With more than 5,500 likes and growing, the Facebook page  "Find Alex Johnson" is spreading his name and growing.

Ben Haydon's been friends with Johnson for about 7 years.

"It shows how much he was liked in this community that so many people have reached out to his family and reached out to us," said Haydon.

The disappearance sounds like something out of a horror movie.  Police say Johnson was at home, and on the phone with his girlfriend.  Police say Johnson heard a knock on the door, hung up the phone, and that's the last time anybody's heard from him.

"We don't know where he could possibly be.  So, we're still saying our prayers and holding out hope that he's safe," said Haydon.

Haydon says Johnson enjoys the outdoors, works as a chef at UK, and is well read.

Haydon can't imagine why anybody would want to harm Johnson.

"It's just been everyday trying to figure out what could have possibly happened, and there's not been any sort of new news," said Haydon.

Friends and family ask anybody with information to call Lexington police.
