Freeze Warnings Remain In Effect

Freeze Warnings Remain In Effect

Freeze Warnings will remain in effect through tonight and into early Thursday, as we'll have another night with sub-freezing lows.
Freeze Warnings remain in effect tonight and into Thursday morning.

Most of the area started the day at least a couple of degrees below freezing, and the daytime weather will remain well below average.  Plenty of sunshine will mix with a few fair-weather clouds, and we'll see a high near 52 degrees.  Clear skies and light winds will allow temperatures to drop to near 30 degrees again tonight.  We'll stay dry and unseasonably cool (but not quite as chilly) on Thursday, when highs recover into the upper 50s.  We'll rebound back to near normal in the middle 60s on Friday.  The weekend will be warmer with highs well into the 70s, as a large ridge builds across the Southeast.  Most of the weekend will stay dry, with only a few isolated thunderstorms possible, especially north and west of Lexington, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as a front stalls to our west.  Storm chances will increase as the front arrives on Tuesday.
