Freeze Warnings Expiring, The Warm-Up Begins

With Freeze Warnings expiring at 9 AM, the recovery to more seasonable weather is beginning. Skies will be partly sunny today.
The warm-up will begin, as the Freeze Warnings that have been in effect across the entire Commonwealth are expiring at 9 AM.

High pressure will provide beautiful weather today, but we will remain a good bit below average, as highs struggle to 60° this afternoon.  Sunshine will mix with some afternoon clouds.  Tonight will be another cold night with lows in the middle to upper 30s.  Readings will return to near normal on Friday, peaking in the middle 60s under partly sunny skies.  Most areas will stay dry through the weekend, but isolated shower or thunderstorms will be possible to the west, late on Friday, and to the north on a warmer Saturday.  High pressure will provide beautiful, dry weather on Sunday as temperatures peak near 79°.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will arrive from the west on Monday and become widespread on Tuesday as a cold front crosses the area.  Early-week 70s will give way to 60s as showers exit eastern Kentucky on Wednesday.
