Fraudulent Payroll Checks Passed in Fleming County

Morehead, Ky - Kentucky State Police in Morehead are currently working several investigations of fraudulent payroll checks being cashed at local grocery stores.

Three Hispanic males have cashed the fraudulent payroll checks at Watson Grocery and the Fox Valley Grocery in the Wallingford community in Fleming County. These subjects are cashing payroll checks with various company names on an account from City National Bank in Ashland, Kentucky.

The subjects were seen leaving Watson Grocery in a silver minivan, which did not have a visible license plate.
