A Frankfort man is dead following a motorcycle crash.

The investigation indicated that Charles Conway, 57, was operating a 2007 Harley Davidson motor cycle when he turned from Ky. 676 onto Ky. 420 Monday afternoon.

Police say he then apparently lost control, went onto the shoulder, and struck the guard rail and a road sign.

Conway, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motor cycle and landed on the roadside embankment.

Conway was transported him to the Frankfort Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the crash.
