The Nicholas County Fiscal Court appointed 4 new members to the Fire Board Friday.

The change comes a day after the entire fire department quit.

All 13 members resigned after months of conflict with the Fire Board.

The new Board will meet next week.

In the meantime, the county still doesn't have a fire department.

The City of Carlisle is responding to calls.
