A former Southland Christian Church employee, already accused of electronic sexual misconduct with one minor, now faces more charges.

When police first arrested 29-year-old Jonathan David Hall in September, the case involved one Lexington minor. Now, State Police say he was also communicating with three other minors from out-of-state.

The case began in March when the mother of a Lexington minor contacted police. State police say there are other reported victims.

"There's one in Colorado, one in Georgia, and one in North Carolina," said Detective Jack Morgan, KSP Electronic Crime Branch.

Morgan did not say how Hall met the out-of-state minors. Morgan says some of the communications took place at Hall's home in Danville. Morgan says Hall used his smart phone to communicate with the minors, and send them obscene pictures of himself. Hall's charges also include 37 counts of possessing child pornography.

"Which would be 37 images of a minor, someone under the age of 18 engaged in nudity, or sexual performance," said Morgan.

State Police say Hall met the reported local victim through church. Morgan says Jonathan Hall worked as a youth Minister at Southland Christian's Satellite church in Danville.

"It's always a fear for us when someone that is connected with children, has access to children is charged with these types of crimes, because obviously they have the ability to communicate with children on a regular basis," said Detective Morgan.

Southland Christian's Executive Director declined to comment on the case. In September, Southland Christian told ABC36 Hall had been let go from his role, but would not say why.

Thursday, we asked Executive Director Chris Hahn if Hall had been to the church since then, and he declined to answer.

Hall is currently in the Boyle County jail on a $40,000 bond. If convicted of all the charges, Hall could get a maximum of 20 years in prison.
