Richie Farmer could face an ethics investigation.

That's according to the Executive Director of the Executive Branch Ethics Commission.

The Commission met on Monday.

John Steffen says he can't confirm or deny an investigation into Farmer, who is the Former Agriculture Commissioner.

But Steffen says the Commission takes allegations of wrongdoing seriously.

Two weeks ago an audit accused Farmer of using state employees to take him hunting, mow his lawn and even chauffer his dog.

The State Personnel Board also met on Monday.

That Board is also considering an investigation.
