Former Blackburn Prison Employee Accused Of Having Sex With Inmate

For the second time in a week, a female Blackburn Prison employee is accused of having sex with a male inmate, according to authorities. 

Investigators said Bernadette Luttrell, 48, was involved in the relationship.

According to the Casey County Detention Center, Luttrell was charged with Rape.

Luttrell resigned from the state prison in June of this year, according to the state. 

Last week, former Blackburn Correctional Officer Jennifer Wiseman was accused of having a sexual relationship with a male inmate in a separate case.  She pleaded not guilty in Fayette District Court.
