Foggy Monday Morning Possible

Foggy Monday Morning Possible

We will see a few more scattered storms in the region Sunday night. The rain will end for most of us Monday with warming conditions.
Midnight Update: All the rain has come to an end for the night!

Central Kentucky is still running warmer than areas further southeast thanks to fewer rain showers and cloud cover earlier in the day. Lexington is currently at 72° with London reporting 66°.

Meteorologist Michael Estime will have the latest on Monday's high heat starting at 5 a.m. on Good Morning Kentucky.

We still have a couple strong storms in central Kentucky this evening. The main threats will continue to be small hail, gusty winds, heavy rain, and flash flooding in storms that develop.

Overnight, we could see an isolated shower develop, but it looks like we should be dry for the Monday morning commute. It will be a mild start to our Monday with morning lows in the mid 60s.

Central Kentucky will start clear up Monday afternoon with mostly sunny skies by mid afternoon. The extra sunshine will help temperatures climb into the upper 80s! Areas further east could see a few more scattered showers and storms during the day.

The chance for scattered storms returns for the rest of us on Tuesday. Expect a mix of sun and clouds between showers with afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
