Flea Market Owner Shoots Thief

Owner says he saw four suspects try to steal from his cash register when he shot one of the robbers twice.
      The owner of the Georgetown Flea Market says he shot a woman trying to break-in to his store at 3:15 Sunday morning.
       
     Marion Criswell says he was awaken by the sound of someone breaking down one of the glass doors to his shop, where he also lives at.

     He says he could make out four people in the store trying to steal from the cash register. He yelled at them, but they did not answer, that's when he opened fire hitting one of the suspects twice.

    Criswell says the woman he shot collapsed out in the parking lot, while the other three suspects ran away. The woman was taken to UK Hospital where her condition is unknown.

     Georgetown police declined to comment on the incident and whether they had apprehended the other three suspects.
