A Flash Flood Watch continues in southeastern Kentucky until this evening.

A cold front is drifting south across Kentucky today, sparking another round of scattered thunderstorms.  Most of the storms will be near and especially south of I-64.  Mostly cloudy skies will keep temperatures in check, with highs near 86°.  Patchy fog will form in some areas tonight, with only an isolated thunderstorm or two in far southern and southeastern Kentucky.  The weekend will feature dry weather in central Kentucky, with isolated thunderstorms limited to southern and southeastern Kentucky.  Lower humidity and highs in the middle to upper 80s will make for more comfortable weather.  Next week will bring a warm-up, with highs returning into the lower 90s.  Humidity levels will slowly rise once again, and isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible in central and eastern Kentucky each afternoon.
