Five-Percent Tuition Increase Proposed At UK

University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto asked the Board of Trustees to approve a five-percent tuition increase for the fall of 2014.
University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto proposed a five-percent tuition increase for the fall of 2014, according to a school spokesperson.

The UK Board of Trustees is expected to vote on the proposal this Friday.

The Council on Post-Secondary Education had already voted to allow state colleges and universities to raise tuitions, up to eight-percent.
