Police said they were in the right place at the right time to make some arrests overnight Saturday into Sunday morning.

Lexington Police were on patrol when they heard shots fired in the area of Shropshire and Third. They found a car there, driving without headlights. Police then made a stop and said they found three guns in the car, one of which was stolen.

All five people in the car were arrested, including two with warrants. Those men are Antoine Clay, Ronell Suter, Robert Crawford, Lavonne Smith and Dontrell Turner.

The men face a variety of charges from receiving stolen property to possession of a handgun by a felon.
