John Calipari's new Wildcats took to the floor for the first official practice of the 2013-14 season on Sunday, and overall, things went fairly well.

Mainly because this group of new Cats mixed with a few key returnees, is willing to learn and listening to the coaches early.

Most importantly, they're very talented to begin with...and bring a tremendous winning desire and competitive spirit to the floor.

Which are all things Cal put on the board in the locker room before yesterday's first day out.

Hear what those points were in the video.
